I've felt a Russian novel year brewing in my bones, but haven't been brave enough to launch.<br /><br />I started Ivan Denisovich once, but it wasn't the right time for me. <br /><br />Years ago, my first Russian novel was The Brothers K. Yikes! I had to make a list of characters to refer to as I turned the pages.<br /><br />And I have fond memories of reading Anna Karenina. Meanwhile I collect Russian novels and tell myself that someday I will read them.<br /><br />Thanks for this. I loved the quotes.
