About 40% of my reading has been non fiction.
With that, I have not read nearly enough books this year. It is time to pick it up for me.
i guess bicycle repair manuals don't count? and a bit of geological research, also; quite minor...

I have read a lot of nonfiction this year too. I posted about most here: https://wordsandpeace.com/2020/11/06/nonfiction-november-my-year-2020-in-nonfiction/ Since then, I have read 5 more, so that's a total of 33, I may add 1 more before the end of 2020
Brian, I used to read predominantly non fiction but I swung around to reading fiction (mostly classics) & this year I made the effort to swing back so my reading is more balanced.
I'd count those, Mudpuddle! I hate reading instructions or how to do something techy and often get one of my kids or husband to give walk me through what to do - like how to re-set the oven timer when my grandson has fiddled with it. Pathetic, really. :)
Hi Cleo, it takes more work for me to read non fic especially if it's a topic unfamiliar to me but I've just got out of the way of it in recent times which has made it harder. I have a few Chesterton & C.S. Lewis books I'd like to get read next year.
